Terms of Use

These terms of use (including all other terms, policies, notices, guidelines, and forms referenced herein or otherwise available on the Platform or by hyperlink) ("Terms") govern your use of the platform provided by Jungle Family Pte. Ltd. (or referred to as "Jungle", "we" or "us") (collectively the "Platform"). The "Services" we provide or make available include (a) the Platform, and (b) the services provided by the Platform and/or by Jungle and made available through the Platform. Any new features added to the Services are also subject to these Terms. These Terms govern your use of Services provided by Jungle.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing and using the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms set out in the Privacy Policy (https://peekaboo.jungle.baby/privacyPolicy). If you do not agree with the Terms, please do not access or use the Platform, or the Services.

The Platform may be used by (i) natural persons who have reached 18 years of age and (ii) corporate legal entities, e.g. companies. Where applicable, these Terms shall be subject to country-specific provisions as set out herein.

Users below the age of 18 must obtain consent from parent(s) or legal guardian(s), who by accepting these Terms shall agree to take responsibility for your actions and any charges associated with your use of the Platform and/or purchase of Goods (as defined below). If you do not have consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s), you must stop using/accessing the Platform immediately.

Jungle reserves the right to change or modify these Terms (including any additional terms and conditions or policies, which are published on the Platform and incorporated into these Terms) at any time. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly and you are strongly recommended to do so. You will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms (whether or not reviewed by you) by your continued use of the Platform following the date on which the amended Terms are posted.

All photos and images of the Services shown on the Platform are also for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual Services.

1. Jungle

1.1 Who we are

We are Jungle, an online platform for parents to discover and book activities for their children. We are owned and operated by Jungle Family Pte. Ltd., a Singapore incorporated company.

1.2 What we do

Jungle enables users to discover and book family activities and services ("Services") provided by third-party merchants ("Merchants") through our website or app (collectively "Platform"). When you book an activity with our Merchants ("Booking") via the Platform, Jungle acts on behalf of that Merchant to facilitate, process and conclude the Booking.

2. Use of the platform

2.1 In order to use the Platform and purchase a Booking, depending on if you choose to log in and which login method you opt for, you may need to provide us with your mobile number or email address.

Depending on the Merchant's preference, there are times the Platform provides single sign on with your Facebook or Google account.

Save for cases of fraud or abuse which are not your fault, you accept that all Bookings you placed on the Platform are your sole responsibility.

2.2 Jungle shall not be liable for Bookings that encounter issues due to incomplete, incorrect or missing information provided by you. You are obliged to provide information that is complete, accurate and truthful for the proper processing of the Booking, including your contact information.

2.3 Please refer to Jungle's privacy policy if you wish to delete your personal data collected by Jungle, please send us an email requesting its deletion. We may restrict, suspend or terminate your use of the Platform, if we reasonably believe that you are suspected or discovered to have been involved in any activity or conduct that is in breach of these Terms, or involved in activity or conduct which we deem in our sole discretion to be an abuse of the Platform.

3. Your bookings

3.1 When making a booking through Our Platform, that booking is made with the Merchant named on the booking page and our Platform only acts as a facilitator of such a booking. We do not provide, own or control any of the Services that you can access through our Platform. The Services are owned, controlled or made available by the merchants either directly or as an agent. The merchants are responsible for the Services. Your interaction with any Merchant through our Platform is at your own risk. Jungle is not liable for any issues or losses arising from your interaction with the Merchant. The display on our Platform of a Service or Merchant does not in any way imply or suggest any sponsorship or endorsement of such Service or Merchant by us, or any affiliation between the Merchant and us.

3.2 A Merchant may impose additional terms and conditions, rules and restrictions ("Merchant Terms") that will be applicable to your booking. You will be provided with the name of the Merchant and the applicable Merchant Terms during the booking process. As the Merchant Terms applicable for each Service may vary, you should ensure that you fully understand and accept each of the applicable Merchant Terms before completing your booking. If you are booking on behalf of other persons, you are required to ensure that they are aware of and agree to the applicable Merchant Terms. If you fail to comply with the Merchant Terms, the Merchant has a right to refuse or cancel your booking without offering any refunds. For enquiries about the Merchant's products and services or its Merchant Terms, please contact the Merchant directly.

3.3 After making a booking, you will be notified by us with a confirmation ("Booking Confirmation") and an associated confirmation number ("Booking Confirmation Number"). Depending on the policy of the Merchant, the Booking Confirmation may contain a voucher for redemption ("Booking Voucher"). Neither we nor the Merchant will be responsible for Booking Confirmation Numbers or Booking Vouchers that are lost, stolen or destroyed.

3.4 To utilise your booking, you will need to appear in person at the meeting point designated and at the stipulated time, and present such documents and/or information as may be required by the Merchant, who is solely responsible for accepting your Booking Confirmation. If you fail to appear for a booking ("No-Show"), or fail to utilise a booking within the specific time period that it is valid for, your booking cannot be re-used and you will not be eligible for any refunds.

3.5 We reserve the right to deny and cancel any bookings that we deem to be in violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion and without any refunds. If, despite being in compliance with these Terms and the Merchant's Terms, you are unable to utilise your booking due to the fault of the Merchant or otherwise, please contact us.

4. Purchasing & payments

4.1 When booking products and services on our Platform, you will be quoted a price that needs to be paid before the booking is confirmed. All prices shown are on a per person basis, unless otherwise specified. All prices are subject to changes at any time prior to purchase, and you should refer to the latest published prices before making any purchase. Although our Services are currently free for all users, Jungle reserves the right to require additional charge(s) for the use of its Platform and/or Services at any time, including but not limited to booking fees or processing fees for certain payment methods. Any new or increased charges will be notified to you via email or posting on our Platform, and your use of our Platform and/or Services following such notification constitutes acceptance.

4.2 When you complete your purchase, you will be notified of the payment methods that are acceptable for that purchase. If there is a processing fee charged for the use of a payment method, this will be notified to you. The amount payable presented to you when you complete your purchase will include all applicable prices, fees, taxes, duties and charges. The amount payable does not include any personal insurance, passport or visa fees that may be required, or fees that are charged by your bank or credit or debit card company. The amount payable will be charged in the currency presented to you. If you choose to pay in a currency different from what is stated, a foreign currency conversion based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time the contract is concluded may be applied, incurring a conversion charge.

4.3 For your payment to be processed, you are required to provide us with information regarding your credit card or other payment instrument. You represent and warrant that such information is true and accurate, and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment instrument. You also represent and warrant that you will update your payment information if any changes should occur, including but not limited to changes to your billing address or expiry of a credit card. Notwithstanding your right to choose to pay in a currency different from what is stated in 4.2 above, there may be a difference between the amount displayed on our Platform and the final amount charged to your credit card or other payment method.
